but, remember the bellboy was only given 5 euros, and he pocketed only two and gave the 3 people 3 euros

Three people check into a hotel. They pay £30 to the manager and go to their room. The manager suddenly remembers that the room rate is £25 and gives £5 to the bellboy to return to the people. On the way to the room the bellboy reasons that £5 would be difficult to share among three people so he pockets £2 and gives £1 to each person. Now each person paid £10 and got back £1. So they paid £9 each, totalling £27. The bellboy has £2, totalling £29. Where is the missing £1? ~100 gold~ its pretty easy (i swear i didnt look it up) when it says, Now each person paid £10 and got back £1. So they paid £9 each, totalling £27. The bellboy has £2, totalling £29. Where is the missing £1? its always 25+5 sence the bellboy had 2+3=5 and there is the other 25 dollars. i win ;D |

technically there is no missing euro... he says that each person payed 10 euros and got 1 back but the door man took 2 so.. that would mean that 2 people should get 2 back and 1 should get 1 back but that is what the door man thought so he took 2 and gave 3 so there is no missing euro, just a trick question
