ok.
These instructions are for a custom avatar, you can allways use the defualt ones.
Step 1: go to www.google.com and do an image search.
Step 2: enter into the text box a general discription of the image you are looking for then hit 'search'
Step 3: click on the image and your browser will be redirected to the location of that image
Step 4: at the top of the screen there should be a link that says something like 'See full size image' click it.
Step 5: copy the url and return to this site and log in
Step 6: Click the profile button in the main menu up top
Step 7: scroll down until you see a box that says 'avatar url'
Step 8: paste the url you copied earlier into that box.
Steo 9: scroll down to the bottom of the page and click modify profile.
and thats all there is to it! lol.
but seriously, read the general info board it will save you alot of time!

You can also just go to photobucket, copy and paste the Direct Link into your avatar URL spot in modify profile.
